Senior Lincoln Jones wins CIF Title in 200 IM at CIF Finals Friday, May 7
Walnut, CA – Senior Lincoln Jones finished first in CIF Prelims in the 200-yard Individual Medley for Division 3 at the Mt. San Antonio College Aquatics Center on Wednesday, May 7. Jones placed second in 2024 in the same event and eyed a first place finish for his senior year. From the start of the event, Jones led the entire way, earning his personal best time of 1:51.29, which set a new school record as well as obtaining a NISCA (National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association) All-American consideration time. After the event, Jones seemed relieved to met his goal and for the pressure of it to be complete. Congratulations to Lincoln Jones from La Mirada High School!
