These past few games have been tough for La Mirada Boys’ soccer. As they have been taking defeats from Downey 4-0 and Warren 2-0. Captain Giovanni Mejia stated the group of boys the team have are very close together but the problem is it isn’t clicking on the field. He claims that if we played for each other instead of individually the team would be more successful. La mirada Boys Soccer did brace themselves with an odd season as the team was basically brand new. But good news for the team as most of the players are juniors and sophomores. Giovanni Mejia states although the team has had its struggles. He couldn’t ask for a better group of guys to play and have around with as a whole.
