Senior, Natalie Ojeisekhoba was named the October Athlete of the Month at La Mirada High School. She has played volleyball for 3.5 years and enjoyed playing with friends. She commented on her favorite memory, “Making CIF last year.” Her favorite athlete is University of Nebraska Volleyball player, Harper Murray, because she’s an aggressive player. Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach Kim Mahan explained, “Natalie was one of our captains who led our team. She is athletic, confident, coachable, and extremely focused during games. She is one of the best Middles La Mirada High has ever had. She had 346 kills and 65 blocks this season. Her kills are the highest and her blocks are 2nd highest in school history going back 20 years.” Ojeisekhoba will be attending the University of Hawaii next year and playing on the Womens’ Volleyball Team.
