Varsity Girls Cross Country Qualify for CIF Finals on Saturday, November 23

Girls Varsity Cross Country Team at CIF Prelims

On Saturday, November 16, the La Mirada Varsity Girls Cross Country placed third in Heat 2 of Division 3 in the CIF Southern Section Prelims at Mt. San Antonio College (SAC) to qualify them to make it back to CIF Finals on Saturday, November 23. The Varsity team consists of Lauren Gutierrez, Zoe Chang, Amanda Palomino, Sofia Alonso, Alana Marin, Sequoia Torres, and Zoey Santiago. The combined score was enough to put them in the finals. This is the first time the team has qualified for CIF Finals since 2019.
