Members of the La Mirada High School Choir performed the National Anthem on the field before the Angel game on Wednesday, September 27th. The group included Vanessa Avalos, Gregory Campos, Brooke Godwin, Jacob Grant, Ashley Mancheno, Jonathan Martinez, Alyssa Montoya, Alexis Russo, Grace Santillan, Kalea Siu, and Elena Valdez. The group was led by Choir Teacher Mr. Nicholas Montalvo. One of the choir members, Sui explained, “It was really fun because we had a lot of choir from and it was crazy look at the fans. It was surreal and definitely something I will remember.” The group was invited to perform with other groups from Los Angeles and Orange County.
