As La Mirada High School is beginning the new year, the annual Homecoming dance is just around the corner. Friday, September 13th was the first rally to introduce La Mirada’s Top 15 Court, however with the tie of two girls, Top 15 became the Top 17 Flowers. Seniors Crystal Rico, Paige Silva, Danna Herra Rodriguez, Alanna Gracia, Angelina Ratzlaff, Angelyna Conde, Sarah Leon, Ashley Mancheno, Robyn Heggstrom, Geraldine Aiono, Mia Cook, Kelly Anne Luz, Brooklyn Jaramillo, Juliette Suarez, Katie Monterroza, and Valeria Vasquez, were nominated to get the chance to win Homecoming Queen. To continue the celebration all girls will open up lunch with a choreographed routine by asb, following a walk through with an escort at the Homecoming Game that will be Friday, October 4.
