Seniors Walker Calvo, Rebecca Eckart, and Amber Valdez signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, November 8 in the La Mirada High School Gym. Calvo signed with United States Military Academy West Point to play baseball. Eckart signed with University of Notre Dame to play softball and Valdez signed with Ottawa University AZ to play softball. According to the National Letter of Intent website, about 48,000 athletes sign every year to about 652 Division I and II member schools with scholarships in the amount of approximately $3.3 billion in scholarships.
