Anticipation is growing as the turf installation began on Thursday, December 7 on the field at Goodman Stadium at La Mirada High School. Students, staff, and community members alike are anxious with anticipation for the construction to be done on the project and for the first games to be played on the fields. With the historic rain last Spring, the completion date was extended and now with a drive down Foster Road giving a peek at some bright green and royal blue, it has the community swirling with excitement. The Football team, Boys and Girls Soccer, Track and Field as well as Band and Color Guard will utilize the field at different times. In the Baseball, Softball Project there will be another football and soccer turf field for use on campus. Goodman Stadium is set to be completed early in 2024 and available to have the first graduation ceremony held on the field in several years.
